Here is where we keep the reviews.

Hidden away from prying eyes, here is your handy-dandy resource for all the reviews available on The Games of Chance. We're not exactly a big-budget operation around here (nor are 'we' more than one person), but what we lack in funds we make up for in heart. Heart, and impregnable gamer cynicism.

The list is gettin' a bit long - and I'm useless at coding and widgets - so if you're lookin' for something in particular, just ctrl-F.

Reviews are listed in reverse chronological order - newest first.

2015

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/07/kind-of-review-senran-kagura-shinovi.html
Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus
It's about boobs.  The boobs, in and of themselves, aren't amazing - but the game is really fun!  Yes, seriously.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/06/why-i-wont-finish-witcher-iii-wild-hunt.html
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
It's got a ton of things going for it, but fun factor isn't one of them.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/05/review-shovel-knight.html
Shovel Knight
Excellent.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/04/review-bloodborne.html
Bloodborne
Bloodborne is a masterpiece.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/03/a-giffy-review-dying-light.html
Dying Light
An instant classic.

Also see Chamberlain & Chance on Dying Light.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/03/review-order-1886.html
The Order: 1886
Eye-popping. A blast. Smart. Progressive. Boundary-pushing. Imperfect.

Excellent.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2015/02/review-atelier-ayesha-plus-alchemist-of.html
Atelier Ayesha Plus: The Alchemist of Dusk
Pretty. Good.

2014

Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom
A straight rip on Legend of Zelda: LttP that's nowhere near as good as Legend of Zelda: LttP.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/11/why-i-wont-finish-assassins-creed-unity.html
Assassin's Creed Unity
Remember all the boring stuff you had to do in Assassin's Creed before IV happened?  It's all that!  Again!  And the platforming is unreliable again!

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/11/review-dont-starve_10.html
Don't Starve
Charming presentation, an obscene amount of depth and perhaps the most-meaningful gameplay experience of the year.  Don't Starve is a must-play.

thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/10/review-alien-isolation.html
Alien: Isolation
Incredible graphics, wonderful world-building, excellent design and twenty hours of white-knuckle tension.  Alien: Isolation is an instant classic.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/10/review-middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor.html
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
It's not amazing, but it's pretty darn good.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/09/a-brief-review-destiny.html
Destiny
Destiny has good looks and impeccable gameplay, but anything else you want from a massively-multiplayer game might get patched in, one day.

I'm too "casual for Destiny.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/09/review-genroku-legends-hells-where.html
Genroku Legends: Hell's Where the Heart Is
A fantastic finale to the Genroku Legends, with the best combat of the bunch and a cute story - and still soo gorgeous.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/09/review-infamous-first-light.html
inFamous: First Light
It's everything I wanted Second Son to be, only shorter.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/09/review-rogue-legacy.html
Rogue Legacy
A sharp, intelligently accessible action-Roguelike.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/09/review-diablo-iii-ultimate-evil-edition.html
Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition
Classic, modern, smooth as silk.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/08/review-counterspy.html
CounterSpy
Stealth is rarely this stylish.  Or this boring.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/08/review-akibas-trip-undead-undressed.html
Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed
Endlessly sweet, constantly funny and entertaining the whole way through.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.com/2014/08/minireview-battle-princess-of-arcadias.html
Battle Princess of Arcadias
Incredibly cute, less than reliably fun.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/07/review-genroku-legends-spirited-seven.html
Genroku Legends : A Spirited Seven Nights' Haunting
A pulpy story of supernatural ninja intrigue, solid mechanics and still gorrrgeous.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.com/2014/07/review-genroku-legends-cause-to-daikon.html
Genroku Legends : A Cause to Daikon For
A less-perfect taste of Vanillaware is still delicious.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/07/review-guacamelee-super-turbo.html
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition
Pure gaming pleasure - and more of it!

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/06/review-god-of-war-collection-on-vita.html
God of War Collection (Vita)
The now-classic, bloody brawlers enjoy a perfect port, here.

Borderlands 2 (Vita)
An open-world space western lootfest RPG/FPS is still a beautiful thing.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/06/review-watch-dogs.html
Watch Dogs
Watch Dogs has all the trappings of a major open-world game, but its fun factor is inconsistent.
Wolfenstein: The New Order
The New Order does its heritage proud, offering the lurid, gory, arcadey thrill of 90s shooters under a dazzling veneer of high production values.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/05/review-transistor.html
Transistor
Thought-provoking, beautiful and rich, intelligent fun.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/05/review-child-of-light.html
Child of Light
Looks aren't everything - but they sure don't hurt.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/05/review-starlight-inception.html
Starlight Inception
Blech.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-dead-nation.html
Dead Nation (Vita version reviewed)
Zombies are still cool.  Specifically, slaughtering thousands of them.  That's still cool.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-octodad-dadliest-catch.html
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Something so fun, funny, original and earnest doesn't come along often enough.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2.html
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
A beautiful, grand romp of a brawler-adventure with a few missed steps.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-thief.html
Thief
It's a first-person stealth game, but there's little else here to remind you of its legendary namesake.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-infamous-second-son.html
inFamous: Second Son
Second Son is lacking some of the magic of past inFamous titles, but it remains fun - and unbelievably good-looking.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/04/review-dark-souls-ii.html
Dark Souls II
A dark action-RPG masterpiece, and 2014's first strong Game of the Year contender.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/03/review-south-park-stick-of-truth.html
South Park : The Stick of Truth
The best cartoon-to-video-game title ever made, and a hugely fun, funny and entertaining ride the whole way through.  It's excellent.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/03/minireview-last-of-us-left-behind.html
The Last of Us : Left Behind (DLC)
Aesthetically stunning and a welcome return to The Last of Us's loved ones, Left Behind only lacks on the gameplay front.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/review-gunslugs.html
Gunslugs
Meh.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/review-txk.html
TxK
Trippy as hell.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/review-outlast.html
Outlast
An effectively creepy first-person horror experience.

Review
Chamberlain & Chance on Outlast

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/review-dustforce.html
Dustforce
Frustrating, rock-hard, inscrutable, beautiful, pure and uncompromising.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/chamberlain-and-chance-on-brothers-tale_8.html
Brothers : A Tale of Two Sons
Chamberlain adores it and I abhor it.

Chamberlain & Chance on Brothers : A Tale of Two Sons

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/02/minireview-tomb-raider-definitive.html
Tomb Raider : Definitive Edition
If I were to declare a "best retail game on PS4" at this precise moment, it would be Tomb Raider.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/01/review-olli-olli.html
Olli Olli
Challenging, simple and nicely addictive, Olli Olli is the best skateboarding game in years - if you can master it.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2014/01/review-genroku-legends-fishy-tales-of.html
Genroku Legends : Fishy Tales of the Nekomata
Fast and frantic action, incredible bosses and a wonderful story make Nekomata an excellent add-on to Muramasa Rebirth.

2013

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/12/minireview-telltales-walking-dead-s2-e1.html
Telltale's The Walking Dead - Season 2, Episode 1 - All That Remains
Low tech and wonky framerates remain - but so does the involving story.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/review-tearaway.html
Tearaway
A lean but adorable little platforming adventure, with something beautiful and meaningful to say about games, gamers and what occurs between them.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/review-knack.html
Knack
Knack has its moments of old-school action-platforming pleasure, but they're fleeting and all-too rare in an otherwise boring slog of a game.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.com/2013/11/review-assassins-creed-iv-black-flag.html
Assassin's Creed IV : Black Flag
The best AC in years sails far from the formula.  It's a triple-A pirate simulator!

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/review-resogun-duel-of-chamberlain-and.html
Resogun
The PS4's first near-perfect action game.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/review-killzone-shadow-fall.html
Killzone : Shadow Fall
It's like Killzone and Blade Runner had a baby.  Also, really, really, ridiculously good-looking.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/chamberlain-and-chance-on-ratchet-clank.html
Ratchet & Clank : Into the Nexus
Ratchet & Clank returns to its roots, and it's wonderful.

Chamberlain & Chance on Ratchet & Clank : Into the Nexus.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.com/2013/11/review-arkham-origins-blackgate.html
Batman : Arkham Origins Blackgate
Batman deserves a better game than Blackgate, and so do you.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/11/review-batman-arkham-origins.html
Batman : Arkham Origins
A story that (eventually) gets pretty decent, frustrating combat, abysmal pacing, mediocre art direction and a litany of bugs tarnish the previously-pristine Arkham name.  It's not bad - it's just not up to the bar the franchise set for itself.
http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/10/review-grand-theft-auto-online.html
Grand Theft Auto Online
...is the first online game that's really managed to engage me since World of Warcraft.  If you ever wanted a Grand Theft Auto game that could, potentially, go on forever, you're gonna' love this.

http://thegamesofchance.blogspot.ca/2013/10/minireview-wolf-among-us-episode-1-faith.html
Telltale's The Wolf Among Us Episode One : Faith
A sharp, intelligent story-driven adventure, and a steal of a price.
Beyond : Two Souls
A gorgeous game focused entirely on storytelling without being particularly good at it.
Grand Theft Auto V
The biggest, most ambitious and successfully-executed GTA to date, this is a must-buy and one of the best games of 2013.

Rain
An attempt to be super-deep and artistic without worrying too much about the fun factor.

Chamberlain and Chance (briefly) on Rain.
Killzone Mercenary
A stunningly attractive and eminently capable title, Killzone Mercenary is the Vita FPS you've been waiting for.

Rayman Legends
Feeling more like an expansion to Origins than a sequel, Legends spreads itself too thin and can't reach the same uniform excellence of its predecessor.
The Bureau : XCOM Declassified
This game sucks, don't play it.

The first, last, and only thing I wrote about The Bureau.
2013 Game of the Year
Dragon's Crown (in-depth review)
Fantastically fun and absolutely gorgeous with hundreds of hours of replay value, Dragon's Crown is a brawler to die for.  Buy it.

A short review.

A mid-length review.

Chamberlain and Chance on Dragon's Crown.

FEATURE - On the women of Dragon's Crown.

Dragon's Crown Vs. Dragon's Crown (comparing the PS3 and Vita versions)

Happy Anniversary, Dragon's Crown

Time and Eternity
Time and Eternity is beautiful, with a decent fun factor.  For what it's worth, it's also a lighthearted sex comedy.

Chamberlain and Chance on Time & Eternity.

Nun Attack
A light, fun, charming little action-RPG for touchscreens - and a helluva deal.

Stealth Inc : A Clone In The Dark
Stealth Inc is an odd little puzzle-platformer with a questionable definition of stealth gameplay.
Velocity Ultra
A tight, thoughtfully-constructed teleport 'em up.
The Walking Dead : 400 Days
A tasty appetizer for season 2.

Also see : Chamberlain & Chance on TWD: 400 Days.
Muramasa Rebirth
I love this game.
Hotline Miami
An unique and mildly addictive descent into ultraviolence.
Best Game of 2013
The Last of Us
The Last of Us is a masterpiece.
An in-depth review.
A very short review.

Also see Chamberlain & Chance on The Last of Us (ending spoilers!)
Remember Me
Gorgeous presentation, a wonderful fiction and gameplay somewhere on the underside of 'meh.'  Check it out on the cheap.
Dead Island : Riptide
Dead Island : Riptide is the most fun I've had with a video game so far this year.
A short review.
A very long review.
Far Cry 3 : Blood Dragon
A ton of fun triple-A quality content for a meager price.
Thomas Was Alone
Might wanna' check it out on sale.
Dishonored : The Knife of Dunwall DLC
A decent deal at ten bucks.
Guacamelee!
A delicious little Metroidvania with humor, style and solid gameplay.
BioShock Infinite
A smart, otherworldly adventure with a few weird design choices.
Sly Cooper : Thieves in Time
Sly in HD is fun - but not much fun.
Dead Space 3 : Awakened DLC
A short, insulting sampler of what Dead Space 3 could have been.
God of War : Ascension
It feels like even its developer is bored with it.
Tomb Raider
Buy this game.

Metal Gear Rising : Revengeance
A very unique brawling experience.
Dead Space 3
A Short Review
A Very Long Review
A good-looking, well-polished shooter that eschews the unique horror and atmosphere of the franchise in favor of some rootin' tootin' co-op.
DmC Devil May Cry
Lovely presentation, the funnest action I've ever experienced with a Devil May Cry game, and the best single title Ninja Theory has ever made.

...but its representation of women leaves much to be desired.

2012

The Walking Dead Season 1
A well-designed old-school adventure game that'll tug your heartstrings.  Plus zombies.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault
Chamberlain and I each played the game for about ten minutes and went 'ewww.'
2012 Third-best Game of the Year
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
A hardcore strategy exercise of profound challenge, depth and craftsmanship.
2012 Second-best Game of the Year
Far Cry 3
One of the best games of 2012.  Easily.

Two complaints about Far Cry 3.
Hitman: Absolution
A beautiful, grand, flawed epic of stealth and exploration.

Not done talking about Hitman: Absolution.
Oh, and one more thing.
Assassin's Creed III
The ambition went up and the quality went down.
The Unfinished Swan
I'd pay five bucks for this game's opening.  The rest you can keep.
Dishonored - a shorter review
I love this game.
Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 is far from perfect, but an open-world space western lootfest RPG/FPS is still a beautiful thing.
2012 Game of the Year
Mark of the Ninja
Mark of the Ninja is one of the best games of 2012.  It's like a gift.

Why Mark of the Ninja is the game of the summer.
What it's like showing Mark of the Ninja to a friend.
Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs is an ambitious, successful attempt to deliver a playable Hong Kong crime epic with a bare minimum of missed steps. Check it out.
Darksiders II is a game I can't help but love - a delicious, unique blend of expressive combat, comfortable platforming and sprawling exploration - always fun, and well worth sixty dollars, even as the pacing lags and bugs threaten to stop your progression dead.
Short review.
Long review.

Asura's Wrath
If you're cool with inch-deep gameplay, buy Asura's Wrath on the cheap and enjoy it for the weird, entertaining spectacle.
Sound Shapes
While occasionally brilliant, delectably original and generally not-bad - its not really great, either. Wait for a price drop.
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!!!
A breezy, pleasant little nosh of a game. Check it out.

Deadlight
There's some old-school pleasure, here, but Deadlight makes regular missteps that leave it well shy of greatness.

Gravity Rush
Buy this game.

Spec Ops: The Line
It's worth checking out for the gutsy story alone, but I'd suggest waiting for a price drop.
Lollipop Chainsaw
I love Lollipop Chainsaw.

Also see: Lollipop Chainsaw - Juliet Dances (in-depth gameplay editorial)

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (no review)
...is a phenomenal bang for your buck.  If you like fighters, buy it.

See: Chamberlain and Chance on VF5:FS.
Max Payne 3
Max Payne 3 is uniquely perfect at one all-important thing, and excellent at pretty much everything else. Buy it.

Also see: Chamberlain and Chance on Max Payne 3.
Prototype 2
There are a lot of tradeoffs, here - it's far from perfect - but it is so much fun.
I Am Alive
The most interesting thing to happen to survival horror on consoles since Siren.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Length aside, American Nightmare is actually a better Alan Wake than Alan Wake was.
SSX
A sharply-constructed explosion of high-flying, lightning-fast fun - with a bare minimum of missed steps.

Journey (PSN)
A walk to remember.
Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect 3 is either very good or excellent at every turn, and profoundly satisfying if you've spent time with its predecessors. This is 2012's first GotY contender.
Mass Effect 2
Despite its flaws, Mass Effect 2 is an incredibly polished RPG, and a celebration of the best in science fiction.
Rayman Origins
If you have any appetite for platforming, Rayman Origins is the stuff of dreams.
Escape Plan
A pleasant, petite amuse bouche - but not very filling.

The PlayStation Vita (hardware review)
I have never observed so much potential in a handheld device.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Golden Abyss is more than just a great game - it's a great Uncharted game, which redefines what one can ask of a handheld.

Shank 2
Shank 2 is a definitive entry in its genre, and gorgeous to boot. Buy it.

Scarygirl
Scarygirl is neither great not bad, but not nearly as endearing as its source material.

Amy
This is a bad game.

2011

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Skyrim may be the most perfectly-realized fantasy-world simulator to ever grace gaming.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations
It's nice to spend more time with Ezio - and while this is still a good time, it's not quite the good old days.

Rochard
While rough around the edges, Rochard is a fun, nostalgic return to the heyday of puzzle platforming.

2011 "Best" Game of the Year
Dark Souls
Dark Souls is a masterpiece.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Uncharted 3 is a jaw-dropping, supernatural success in many areas - but not all.

inFamous: Festival of Blood

inFamous fans will find some fun at the Festival, but it's a far cry from required reading and doesn't compare to its more ambitious competition.

Batman: Arkham City
Arkham City is an excellent game from any angle, and one of the best titles of 2011.

Rage

Rage is regularly beautiful and beautifully fun, but often feels strangely hollow.

Dead Island
Dead Island offers one of the funnest, most rewarding experiences of the year. Buy it.

Deus Ex : Human Revolution
Deus Ex isn't perfection, but you can see it from here.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (XBLA)
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is an incredibly good-looking game that mildly scratches one's appetite for Metroid's structure, but occasionally unfortunate design denies it true success.

Catherine
Weird, wild, wise and wonderful. Persona Team may have been just playing around, but they hit their practice swing out of the park.

Bastion (XBLA)
A delicious downloadable treat.

Shadows of the Damned
Definitely check out Shadows of the Damned - but I wouldn't fault you for doing so on a budget.

Duke Nukem Forever
Ech.

Alice: Madness Returns
Wonderland is wonderful - but not for the impatient.

2011 Game of the Year
inFamous 2
inFamous 2 is gorgeous, huge and a constant pleasure to simply play. Buy it.

L.A. Noire
L.A. Noire is a gorgeous, ambitious, involving title. Look to it for an interesting, gripping experience - but look elsewhere for fun.

Portal 2
This is a Game of the Year contender.

Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots
One of the best of the best.

Shadow Complex (XBLA)
The destination may be a downer, but the journey is a blast.

Red Dead Redemption : Undead Nightmare
Excellent - and an excellent value.

Castlevania : Lords of Shadow
A thrilling, inspiring, gothic, romantic adventure with a few nits to pick. Buy it.

Crysis 2
Very good.

Dragon Age II
Imperfect,
occasionally disappointing,
thoroughly absorbing.

Killzone 3
Fantastic.

Bulletstorm
It's fun on a bun.

Naruto Shippuden : Ultimate Ninja Storm 2
Not bad, not great - but worth seeing.

Stacking (PSN, XBLA)
Those with an appetite for whimsy should definitely check out Stacking - all others need not apply.

Dead Space 2
2011's first Game of the Year contender.

God of War : Ghost of Sparta (PSP)
Spectacular. Buy it now

Alan Wake
Definitely check out Alan Wake - it's a fun game, but a bit of a mixed bag.

Limbo (XBLA/PSN)
Strong from any angle, Limbo is mechanically simple and emotionally complex - but not a good value for the money, [update] though cross-buy on PS3 and Vita soothes the sting. [/update]

2010

Kirby's Epic Yarn

A solid rental, worth taste-testing but ultimately dissatisfying.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
A beautiful, stylish, comfortable platformer, offering an absolute glut of content and very unique multiplayer. Highly recommended.

Vanquish
Vanquish boasts rich, rewarding gameplay and great spectacle, but little variety. This is a game that can be easily digested in a two-day rental, or obsessively and pleasurably mastered by the stalwart.

Fallout: New Vegas
New Vegas's technical shortcomings and shoddy shooting don't stop it from being one of the best games of the year.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
Enslaved is very close to a great game - but not quite. Toss it a rental, or buy it on the cheap.

Dead Rising 2
Wonderful.

Valkyria Chronicles II (PSP)
Valkyria Chronicles II is a mixed bag that will ultimately satisfy fans of the original with its ambitious additions to gameplay, but suffers from a story that's like claws on a chalkboard.

BioShock 2: Minerva's Den
I love BioShock 2, so I think Minerva's Den is a great deal.

Shank (PSN, XBLA)
Shank has some flaws, but the overall package is unique, fun and engaging.

Bionic Commando
A solid game that rates off the scales on the Fun-O-Meter.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
Meh. It's there, if you're itching to play some Sands-style PoP, but don't expect it to really satisfy the craving.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game (PSN, XBLA)
The good old days were never this good. Scott Pilgrim is a fair bit short of perfect, but it's a good bit better than great.

DeathSpank (PSN, XBLA)
DeathSpank is a largely entertaining title with more than enough content to justify its fifteen dollar price tag, it's just a little bare-bones with the whole "action RPG" thing.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP)
Peace Walker is a great game that offers perhaps too much, and loses sight of its central vision.

2010 Game of the Year
Red Dead Redemption
I cannot recommend Red Dead Redemption highly enough.

The Saboteur
The Saboteur feels fresh enough to give it a tepid recommendation - if you can find it at the right price, and if you've got nothing better to play (which isn't a tall order).

Resonance of Fate
A great title that fans of the genre will enjoy - particularly those hungry for something new.

God of War III (review 2 - 'cause 1 ain't enough)
Incredible.

God of War III (in which I really pick at the game and point out the flaws)
God of War III attempts to reach an impossible standard, and - amazingly - nearly achieves it. This is another jaw-dropper from Santa Monica.

The God of War CollectionClassic games, well worth the price - and still worth the time.

Heavy Rain
Ambitious, imperfect, incredible. It may not be for everyone, but if you're tired of the same-old same-old, this is a breath of fresh air.

2010 Game of the Year runner-up
BioShock 2
BioShock 2 is the sequel BioShock deserved, and an excellent game in its own right.

Bayonetta
One of - if not the - best brawlers to ever grace the genre. You owe it to yourself to try out Bayonetta.

Darksiders
Darksiders feels like a title I'll be playing annually for a long time to come.

2009

Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age: Origins has a rich world, a compelling narrative and some of the most well-realized characters you'll ever find, but the combat interface brings the whole experience down.

Assassin's Creed II
It keeps everything worth keeping from the original and refines the rest into one of the best games of the year.

Brütal Legend
Tim Schafer lives up to his reputation with another funny, vital and creative title with gameplay that doesn't quite do its lively presentation justice.

Heavenly Sword
A stunning package with a reasonably engaging core, Heavenly Sword is worth your gaming dollar, if you can find it for a good price. I'm happy with the $30 I paid.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time
Yet another perfectly satisfying Ratchet and Clank adventure. It doesn't mix up the formula much, but then again it doesn't really have to.

2009 Game of the Year runner-up
Demon's Souls
If you're willing to invest in Demon's Souls, you will discover one of the true treasures of 2009.

2009 Game of the Year
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
For my money, it's the single best PS3 game to date.

Mini Ninjas
Mini Ninjas is a beautiful game that will likely please young gamers - but aside from wanting to revisit some truly gorgeous locations, I can't imagine why I'd want to play through it twice.

Wet (the actual review)
Wet - on second thought

Moderately ambitious with lots of potential, Wet doesn't live up to its promise. Toss it a rental, or buy it on the cheap.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman fan or not, it's an excellent game.

Prototype
Despite all its flaws, Prototype is unique in its phenomenal, over-the-top sandbox action. Give it a try.

inFamous
A worthy purchase - Sucker Punch has never done better.

Also see : I think I love inFamous.

God Hand (PS2)
If you're up for the challenge, it is one of - if not the - best brawlers ever made.

Valkyria Chronicles DLC
Well worth the price of admission.

ŌkamiMasterpiece.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate
Worth a rental. Sort of.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4
An RPG that may make you love RPGs.

Siren: Blood Curse
I cannot recommend Siren: Blood Curse highly enough.

The Incredible Hulk
Don't waste the money it would cost to rent it.
